本裝置利用油與水的密度的不同，在停留時間適當?shù)那闆r下，使油與水沉淀分離，從而達到撇油的目的。

裝置分三個腔室，廚房灰水首***入裝置***個腔室，在此腔室內(nèi)灰水入口處有形擋板，***降低了水的流速和含油污水的攪動。在***個腔室內(nèi)停留一定時間后，油脂將上浮，分離后的水進入***個腔室。當繼續(xù)有灰水進入時，使***個腔室內(nèi)的水進入第三個腔室，油脂將保留在***、二腔室上部，分離后的水從灰水排放水口處排出。

The device is divided into three chambers. The kitchen grey water enters the first chamber of the device first. There is a shaped baffle at the entrance of the grey water in this chamber, which effectively reduces the flow rate of water and the agitation of oily sewage. After a certain amount of time in the first chamber, the oil will float up and the separated water will enter the second chamber. When the grey water continues to enter, the water in the second chamber enters the third chamber, the grease will be retained in the upper part of the first and second chambers, and the separated water will be discharged from the grey water discharge mouth.
