The SHO-V2/3 RW and SHO-V2/3 LW (right and left hａnd phantoms) are homogeneous anthropomorphically shaped hａnd phantoms suitable for use with ultra wide PDA (Personal Digital Assistant { Wide) mobile phones for head and hａnd (talk mode) testing or hａnd only (data mode) testing.They provide accurate radiation pattern or total radiated power testing of ultra wide PDA mobile phones. Thoroughly designed fixture/positioners ａnd spacers are available to enable precise and repeatable positioning of the device in the hand. The dimensions and material of the hａnd phantoms,material of the spacers and other accessories are compliant with the CTIA Test Plan for Wireless Device Over-the-Air Performance, Revision 3.x.

Assessment of radiation pattern or total radiated power of Ultra Wide mobile phone devices with widths 72-92mm in talk mode and in data mode (hand-only testing)

Assessment of radiation pattern of wrist and body-worn antennas in combination with the forearm phantom or the whole-body phantomPOPEYE V5.5

Compliance

Hａnd size and material properties compliant with CTIA certification standard "Test Plan for Wireless Device Over-the-Air Performance" Revision 3.6 (June 2016)

Construction

Hａnd phantoms:

designed based on the dimensions of the hａnd phantoms developed by CTIA with modified and optimised grip for testing mobile phone devices wider than 72mm; manufactured from a silicone-carbon-based mixture (color:Black) with material properties according to CTIA definitions for hａnd phantoms


V3 positioning spacers:

hollow with a thin shell of less than 2mm thickness made of low-loss plastic (dielectric constant < 5.0, loss-tangent < 0.05)

Frequency Range

0.3 - 3 GHz (SHO-V3RW/LW), 3 - 6 GHz (SHO3TO6-V3RW/LW)
