Background: Catalase is the classical marker for peroxisomes and is the most abundant protein within peroxisomes. It is found in almost all aerobically respiring organisms and serves to protect cells from the toxic effects of hydrogen peroxide.

Storage:  Store at -20 for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cy ℃ cles. The  lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater  than a year when kept at -20 . When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent  of ℃ antibody, the antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4 ℃
