吖啶橙能透過胞膜完整的細胞，嵌入細胞核DNA，與雙鏈DNA結(jié)合后發(fā)出綠色熒光，溴化乙錠(EB)僅能透過胞膜受損的細胞，嵌入核DNA，發(fā)橘紅色熒光。凋亡的細胞呈現(xiàn)為染色增強，熒光更為明亮，均勻*的圓狀或固縮狀、團塊狀結(jié)構(gòu)。非凋亡細胞核呈現(xiàn)熒光深淺不一的結(jié)構(gòu)樣特征。二者很容易判別。在熒光顯微鏡下觀察，可見四種細胞形態(tài)：活細胞(VN)，核染色質(zhì)著綠色并呈正常結(jié)構(gòu)；早期凋亡細胞(VA)，核染色質(zhì)著綠色呈固縮狀或圓珠狀；晚期凋亡細胞(NVA)，核染色質(zhì)為橘紅色并呈固縮狀或圓珠狀；非凋亡的死亡細胞(NVN)，核染色質(zhì)著橘紅色并呈正常結(jié)構(gòu)。本產(chǎn)品AO、EB溶液濃度分別為100ug/ml，所含穩(wěn)定劑不影響實驗效果。
