Product overview: Fluke 28II Ex intrinsically safe true effective value digital multimeter

The DMM for fluke industry has all the measuring functions.

Whether you are inside or outside of ATEX zones 1, 2, 21, or 22, this tool provides you with all the testing and troubleshooting capabilities you need. There is no need to carry different instruments for different areas, and there is no need to worry about carrying non-explosion-proof grade tools through the explosion-proof required area.

4-1/2 digital mode for accurate measurement (20,000 words)

The true RMS ac voltage and current can accurately measure the nonlinear signal

Ac and dc voltages and currents up to 1000V and 10A can be measured (note that the Ex area requires reduced measurement)

Low pass filter ensures accurate measurement of voltage and frequency for variable speed drives (VSD)

Up to 200 kHz frequency and duty cycle can help you diagnose VSD and switch power supply

Resistance, connectivity and diode testing

The capacity range of a motor starting capacitor or component is 10,000 F

High resistance or leakage test conductance measurement

Capture minimum/maximum mean and peak values to automatically record transients and changes

A relative mode that excludes interference from a resistance measurement of a test wire

Manual and automatic range selection, flexibility

When the Lead is inserted into the wrong input jack, the input alarm will sound and flash the word "Lead" to protect your safety

Easy to use

Important additional features ensure that you remain productive throughout the day in a difficult location.

Even if you wear the full PPE, backlit keyboard buttons provide good visibility in poorly lit areas

Large digital displays and level 2 bright white backlights also add visibility

Long battery life - normally 400 hours without backlight (alkaline battery)

Optional magnetic hook, easy to set and convenient reading, let you free your hands to do other work
