HP 3314A is a multi mode, GPIB (HP-IB) programmable function generator featuring square, triangle and sine function in a range from 0.001 Hz to 19.99 MHz. The 3314A is a very flexible generator, a precision control of trigger functions and easy to use. Remarkable is the comfortable PLL function, with to of these instruments its possible to create e.g. two sine voltages with an adjustable phase angle. Examples are quadrature signals. Also the frequency can be controlled by another sythesizer.
Free Run Mode, signal is continuous or swept

N Cycle Mode the HP 3314A output signal is acounted burst of "N" cycles

1/2 Cycle Mode the HP 3314A output signal is alternate 1/2 cycles

ARB Mode redefined as an Arbitrary Waveform Generator capable of producing user defined waveforms
